Mark Krieger to Share Winning Approaches in Service System and Design

Tampa, Fla., November 7, 2006 – Numara® Software, Inc., (formerly Blue Ocean Software) today announced that Mark Krieger, vice president of product development at Numara Software, will be speaking at the Service & Support Professionals Association (SSPA) Services Leadership Conference on November 14 at the Wardman Park Marriott Hotel in Washington D.C. During his presentation titled “Tools and Technology: Winning Approaches in Service System and Design,” Krieger will discuss best practices for delivering service desk solutions that enhance the customer experience and improve the bottom line of call center operations. At the conference, Numara Software will also be honored by the SSPA as a Technology Innovator for its Numara FootPrints service desk solution.

Krieger will join industry thought leaders from Microsoft, Oracle and Sun Microsystems to address the growing need to utilize technology services to drive profits and build better customer relationships. In his break-out session, Krieger will address how to effectively streamline call center communications and boost call center agent productivity with email management and self-service. Specifically, Krieger will share new service delivery technologies that help to connect all the service delivery points, including workflow automation across multiple channels (e-mail, phone, chat, etc.), agent empowerment and self-service enablement and knowledge management.

Krieger began his partnership with the SSPA in August of 2003, as the President and Co-founder of UniPress Software. Krieger was pivotal in growing UniPress to a leading position in the service desk software market and subsequently attracted Numara Software, Inc. as a buyer. As the chief architect of its web-based FootPrints software, he was responsible for managing UniPress’ development and product support teams. At Numara Software, Mr. Krieger continues in his software development role as Vice President of Product Development for the Numara FootPrints product line.
